Sri Lanka Legends, on Sunday (February 16), announced their squad for the upcoming Road Safety World Series 2020. Sri Lanka former opening batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan led India Legends team.

Let’s see the Sri Lanka Legends Squad, Tillakaratne Dilshan will lead the side.  For the batting side Tillakaratne Dilshan will bat alongside Marvan Atapattu, and Dulanjana Wijesinghe (who played 142 first-class matches for Sri Lanka). All-rounders Farveez Maharoof, Sachithra Senanayake and Chamara Kapugedara.

Chaminda Vaas will lead the pacing attack along with Thilan Thushara while spinners Muttiah Muralitharan and Rangana Herath. Expecting Romesh Kaluwitharana  is wicketkeeper else (Dilshan also).

India Legends, on Sunday (February 16), announced their squad for the upcoming Road Safety World Series 2020. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar led India Legends team.

Taking about the India Legends Squad, the former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar will lead the side. Sachin will bat alongside legendary dashing batsmen, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif. All-rounders Ajit Agarkar and Sanjay Bangar. Zaheer Khan will lead the pacing attack along with Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel while spinners Pragyan Ojha, Sairaj Bahutule. Sameer Dighe is wicketkeeper.

As cricket is the most followed sport in the country and cricketers are looked up to as idols, so the Road Safety World Series 2020 will be conducting for to create awareness about road safety among the people across the globe.

“In India every year, more than 1.5-2 lakh people die due to vehicular accidents; one person dies every 4 minutes and 1,214 road accidents occur every day in the country. In the last five years, more than 65 lakh people were disabled completely.”   -“ lots of people ride their 2 wheelers or 4 Wheeler’s over the speed limits and get accidents because due to 2-Wheelers doesn’t wear their helmet. “


“There has been a lot of excitement towards this tournament. People were eagerly waiting for the schedule and the tickets. I am extremely glad for the fans, and I am sure they will come in large numbers to cheer for the legends and also support this important cause of creating awareness towards road safety in the country,” stated the RTO Chief of Thane, Ravi Gaekwad,

The 38-year-old right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, Kamran Akmal told I am not worried about the fact that he has to earn his come back into the national team.

He said “ I’m not thinking about Pakistan comeback right now and my entire focus is on Pakistan Super League”. Akmal will represent the Peshawar Zalmi.

He is one of the player most successful player in PSL history, In last year’s PSL, Akmal finished as the second-highest run-scorer, scoring 357 runs in 13 games, which included three half-centuries, at an average of 27.46 while Kamrn is the leading runs scorer in PSL – he has made 1286 runs in 47 matches including 2 centuries, 9 half-centuries.


Kamran plays international cricket in all-formats of the game. He plays in Tests, ODIs and T20Is as a right-handed batsmen & wicketkeeper, started his international career in November 2002 in Tests. He scored total 6276 international runs in   As a wicket-keeper, he has dismissed 206, 188 and 60 batsmen in Tests, ODIs and T20Is respectively.

  • Akmal has scored 2648 runs in 53 Test matches with the help of six centuries and 12 half-centuries.
  •  In 157 ODIs, made 3236 runs with including five centuries 10 half-centuries.
  • In 58 T20Is, he has scored 987 runs with help of five half-centuries.


The Zalmi will kick off their PSL campaign against the Karachi Kings in Karachi on February 21.
