India vs South Africa 1st Test: India’s off-break bowler Ravichandran Ashwin is the fastest Indian bowler to take the 350 wickets in Test Cricket in terms of number of test matches and also the fastest Indian bowler (also in some records the joint-fastest in the world) to reach the 50-, 100-, 150-, 200-, 250-, 300 wickets.
Aswin also joined Sri Lanka’s off-spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan as the fastest to reach 350 test wickets in the test cricket, achieving it in his 66th Test when he dismissing the overnight batsman Theunis de Bruyn for 10 early in the day 5 to achieve this feat.
Aswin total took 7 wickets in the 1st Test match against South Africa ion the Visakhapatnam. Aswin also broke Australia’s paceman Dennis Lillee’s record (300 Test wickets) by achieving the feat in just 54 matches.
